“Yes. I can talk. I am sorry I lost my temper yesterday. It was late, and it was a lot to think about. I didn’t sleep as much as I would have liked to, either.”
“You said some things I didn’t like. Your tossing in bed kept me awake, too.”
“You were also saying some things that hurt me. I wish we both got rest, but maybe tomorrow will be better. Tomorrow is always better. That smells nice.”
“It is the coffee I make for you every morning.”
“And the cheese. It smells like it was made out of fresh milk. I like the window open. The wind is strong. The ocean breeze smells nice. All the hills outside are so green. You look out and see the sky and the ocean and the calm grass of the hills. We made the best decision of our lives to live here. I have no regrets.”
